Okay... I pump my fist on the "real!" part of that chant. I think the v would be cool too. Mayb ethe v fingers like as in victory? Anyhow, I'm just happy to have a section that stands and yells the WHOLE game. If only we could get $14-ers connected to some of our chants. Of course, it might help if we jumped in on some of theirs....

PS - we've got to get the 'birdie' folks to quit it so we can be on TV. Sorry, TV coverage is more important to me than some antics that the other team doesn't even see.

Looks like I am not the only one that thinks the "Let's make some NOISE!!!" cack on the JumboTron is for nba games!
I really wish they would not do that.

The atmosphere in the stadium develops and takes on a life of its own... I think that kind of high school stuff kills the atmosphere!
IMHO

The worst thing is that we already have atmosphere in the stadium. I thought Uncle Steve told us we wouldn't have to deal with any of that. Can Loyal1 or Dysko get on that for us?

I watched the match on tv and I can tell you that the "anouncer-aided noise" is very artificial and very obvious. After the first home match there was so much talk about how educated the fans seemed to be, so who's idea was it to "help" us along? It's phony, contrived, and makes our city look ignorant. Please make it stop!!!

I can't hear any of the fake screeching over in the Undesirables Section, thanks to our friends with Samba Gringa. 🙂

I know we shouldn't do that. It was my "fan watch" story for the day.
My brother pointed him out (we were back on row 18) and he said, "check that dude out, he's been flipping people off like the whole game!"

I think there's a legitimate genetic defect or childhood disease known as 'FUcitis'. Apparently, it causes a cramping of the middle fingers for Americans and creates an itchy upper central incisor tooth in Europeans which can only effectively be scratched by a thumbnail. From what I gather, it's very rare. Poor guy. 🙁
