Real News For anyone that didn't receive the e-mail. Might as well be thorough.
RSL Update 1. Ellinger tracking the Globe! ReAL Salt Lake Head Coach John Ellinger is currently racking up both the frequent-flier miles and the long-distance telephone bills as he scouts MLS Playoff competition as well as NCAA games, along with determining which players from around the world might be part of ReAL Salt Lake’s inaugural roster. Spring Training travel plans and accommodations are being finalized as well. “There are a ton of players, both currently in MLS and around the world, who have expressed interest either to me or their agents about the possibility of coming to Salt Lake for 2005,” said Ellinger. “The depth and breadth of the talent available to this League and to our team is impressive. The process is exciting and we are working diligently to prepare for the Expansion Draft and the SuperDraft, as well as explore other avenues for players. The arrival of world-class talent to Utah is only a matter of days away.” Keep an eye out for details regarding all the procedures as well as the date and time for the 2005 MLS Expansion Draft, to take place during the days between MLS Cup 2004 (November 14) and Thanksgiving (November 25). 2. Charter Season Ticket Seating Assignment UPDATE Pardon our mess while under construction! Some of our season ticket holder deposits were refunded on the 14th of October due to an error in the merchant services system. Those few credit cards will be recharged the initial deposit today. The remaining balance for season tickets will be collected on Monday November 1st. We have almost completed your seat assignments this past week. With most locations now in place; you will be notified by e-mail of your location and if you received your first or second choice, or you will be notified by phone. At present, there is no need to call us because we will formally announce locations once all current seat requests have been granted. Starting next week, we will be charging your credit cards. We thank you for your patience as we continue to organize our office and operational processes. 3. Limited RSL merchandise can now be found at www.MLSgear.com! Scot Woodbury, our Operations Director, has been diligently meeting the majority of soccer businesses in the region to help them become outlets for team merchandise. If you are in one of those stores, feel free to ask how that's coming along. The more stores that have our gear, the easier it will be to show your ReAL pride. Help convince them that it is a worthwhile investment for the store by telling them you'd like to see our logo in the shops. New designs are being approved and enter production on an ongoing basis, so keep an eye out on www.RealSaltLake.com for new products! Thanks for your support of ReAL Salt Lake and have a great weekend. Elizabeth Etter Customer Relations Manager ReAL Salt Lake

Thanks Neil!
I didn't receive that email. I'm assuming that it was sent to season ticket holders? Some of us can't get season tickets, so it's good to hear the news. Thanks again!

I think its funny that I have had friends in Utah buy my gear, mail it to me and I have already washed them twice AND STILL MLSgear.com can't get my order from 3 weeks ago to me.
