Okay, okay. At the time, I was under the impression that the multiple shots by Chivas in the second half were a lot closer. Since it all happened at the other end of the field, I thought DJ had had to work a bit. Also, it was mainly to get in the comment about the "post save", I was pointing out that he couldn't expect MOTM after that.

As far as Andy Williams goes. I think he's been working hard most games, but simply hasn't done anything spectacular, until now.

Trembly was just a great surprise!

And I also was very happy to see Jamie get into the game.

I'm curious to know what you all thought of Chris Brown (since someone mentioned him as a MOTM possibility). Seems like from reading other message boards as well as this one that people either hate him, or think that he was instrumental in our victory. Is he the kind of guy that goes unnoticed for almost the entire game, then suddenly has one or two flashes of brilliance that lead to goals or great plays? I must admit that during the Galaxy game, he looked pretty good on several occasions in the first half, but then kind of disappeared. Is he our starter?

Chris Brown has a huge melon! I expect more headers off that gargantuan cranium. His footwork is brilliant, but his is not using his greatest asset to its fullest capacity!

I don't know if this is the kind of answer you're looking for, but I think that both Chris Brown and Andy Williams have really stepped it up in the last two games, taking people on and trying to provide some spark going forward. That hadn't been happening in our first few games.

I wasn't terribly impressed with him at the beginning of the season, but I think his last two games have shown a different side. If he can keep that up, I don't see any of our other options being better right now.

Of course, things always change throughout the course of the season too.

I don't see why people say Chris Brown is invisible at times. He always catches my eye as being in the thick of things, fighting for the ball and really pushing for a win. He seems to always be giving 100% IMHO and is one of the more aggressive players we have... again, IMHO.

He got my vote for MOTM because I don't believe in voting somebody as MOTM just because they scored a goal... it takes the whole team getting the ball forward for that one person to score.

I agree with this... Chris Brown from what i have seen on the pitch is very hard working and has had many good touches that have developed into something useful... He is one of my MotM considerations.

Seth Trembly(My other consideration) squared up on giant Ezra Hendrickson and i had to laugh but during the rest of his play he played incredibly well was a big surprize... and he was like watching a tiger minus the dreads.

If you watch Brownie, the guy rarely looses the ball. Every time he dribbles into a situation where you think he's gonna get jammed he some how steps out of it. His work rate is second to none. But, to be fair he could work on his shot while on the run.

Brown has had some very impressive runs down into the box. He is like a bull in a china shop once he gets into the box. He did show some signs of Pando Ramirez where once he got the ball he will just put his head down and you know that the only result will be a shot on goal. Hopefully since he garnered an assist last night he has seen the light that he should be passing from that outside mid position. I can't remember if we have ever had a cross come in from the right hand corner of the field. This is all easily explainable by him being a converted target forward. He should grow into his role...

Excellent responses re: Chris. If only I had some rep to hand out.

I think he has been one of the more underrated and unheralded players, especially in the last 2 games. I think Kreamalmeyer is going to be great, I think Whitfield has shown that he can play, but I don't think that Chris Brown has performed to a level that we should be questioning whether he deserves the spot. I think he has developed some good chemistry in the midfield with Clint and Andy, as well as with Rusty and Dunny.
