Next Home Game Promotion

OK, according to the promotion schedule, this next home game (May 28) is supposed to be Chevron Fan Appreciation and they are giving out replica RSL jerseys. Has anyone heard any more information about this yet? I was hoping they would announce something about it last night to encourage first-timers to come back, like be sure to come again Saturday, May 28 when Chevron will be giving away jerseys to the first x fans.

Also, I picked up some extra posters last Saturday to give to my friends that weren't able to come to the game. I wanted to get some of the cards for them as well last night, but couldn't find extras at the gates after the game. Did they run out?

I don't know about the shirts/jerseys but those cards were very popular last night. I believe they're all gone.

If you want to get extras, it's best to get them before the game not after. The folks handing them out are usually standing near a bunch of boxes filled with the stuff. Grab some from them. That's what I did with the posters last saturday.

Yes that is the best thing to do.
I got one set of cards for me and one for my son thinking I would get more from the FO. No luck... they are all gone!

As for the jersey night... it will most likely be a t-shirt made to look like the jersey and if it is like the cRapids it will be for the first 6000 Kids. hopefully they will have adult sizes but not likely.

I asked one of the folks that answer the phones at 1-866-9-SOCCER about that promotion, and they said it was for kids. They didn't say what the limit was, 6,000 or otherwise. They also didn't say that it was gonna be a crappy t-shirt mock up or a real jersey. They did play up the fact that they would be giving away the shorts, socks, etc. I would hope that they would give you a worthwhile Jersey, because if they didn't, no one would bother to pick up the rest of the stuff through the year.

They also said that they thought you would have to get your Jersey fromt the Chevron booth.

Dude, I can totally pass for like 16 or 17 (especially since I'm getting my gray hairs dyed over on Saturday).
