Pope would be my favorite player whether he played for RSL or not. He has been my favorite player for a long time now. It was really great when I heard he was coming to our team. If they had let me pick just one player to put on the team it would have been him. I think that I should be able to vote for him since he was my favorite player before RSL even existed. :p

I'm glad Eddie likes SLC. I hope he ends his career here. Maybe I should be asking people why their favorite player is their favorite player. I'm just a newbie to soccer so I don't know a lot of players outside of MLS and Auriverde. The names for my poll were taken from Websites where people were mentioning their favorite footballers. I know there were players that were not included on that list and that's mainly due to my ignorance of world wide soccer. So please forgive me and help educate me.
