Rocky Mountain Cup update

I just wanted to give everyone an update of where C10 is at with the organization of the Rocky Mountain Cup. We've recently placed an order for a trophy from a trophy shop in Glasgow. It's silver, 31" tall (including base) and has plenty of room for engraving. Once the trophy gets to us we're going to work with a local shop to get some custom engraving on it with team names and such. We have raised about 75% of the cost of the trophy (as well as covering all our expenses to date), but we still need to raise the other 25%, plus the cost of the engraving and a travel case for the trophy. You can expect some RSL auctions in the near future to (hopefully) complete our fundraising for this year. We're also taking donations through PayPal at http://www.rockymountaincup.com

Thank you, Jason, for the update. I've been wondering how that was comming along... :o Okay, I had completely forgotten it, in the recent spate of home games, but if I had remembered, I would have been wondering how it was going.I'm glad it is going well, and look forward to oportunities to further the cause. Also further installments of the competition.

Thanks for the update. Can't wait for the RSL stuff up for auction. Already made a donation, but I'm ready to bid on some club gear.

Update for the auction. We currently have (here at my house, trying not to drool...)
1. Signed Pope RSL jersey
2. Signed Mathis RSL jersey
3. To-be-signed-before-shipping Kreis RSL jersey
4. RSL replica ball w/ most of the team's signatures
5. A signed, matted print of one of the 90 minutes pictures (with four of the guys standing in the snow at RES)
6. Deuce is working on some custom matted pictures (I cannot wait to see these!!!!)
7. Glenn will probably buy a USMNT jersey (Pope I think) to be signed

When the crapids fans did their half of the auction, they had tons of old junk, I mean stuff, lying around and raised more than $1,000. If anybody has any signed, first season stuff lying around that they'd be willing to contribute, please PM me. I'd love to show the crapids fans that we can outdo them in EVERY aspect of the game!

Personally, I'd love to see the fans of the Crapids pay for the trophy that is going to be sitting on our shelves. That would be great.

But I guess we really should do our part so keep us informed of when this stuff goes up for auction.

Glenn suggested that I take the pics of the items for posting on the eBay auction. I agreed to it awhile ago.

If you have someone else that is cool. It will save me a trip to Orem.

Oh, I told Glenn to bring them by here because I have a digicam so I guess we're going with the easy/fast option! Hope I'm not stepping on toes here!
