Sales push

Has anyone else received any telemarketing calls from RSL? Today I got home from work and there were two messages from RSL telemarketers. One asked if I had joined the Loyalists already. The other mentioned that they found my name on a list of people who attended the Women’s national team game at RES. After thinking about it, I realize that I must have paid for my ticket with my credit card at RES. Both calls mentioned that they have some great holiday packages available. Obviously, there is a big push to sell season tickets.

Yeah I got a call, but I wasn't home either. I still haven't bought my season tix, but I will within the next few weeks.

I got a call from Lucio.

He just wanted to let me know season tickets were available. I said, "cool" and then proceeded to inform him I would be buying my tickets in February.

I just had one child's birthday, now comes Christmas, and then another kid's birthday in January.

Papa has no money right now.

Nice to see you've made the jump from BS into our little clique, Cup. Good thing too because we've been drawing up scarf designs and stuff, so your artistic abilities could make you popular :D

Hey Czar, I have been out of the game alittle bit because my home computer almost gave up the ghost but its finally fixed now.

I don't know about my artistic abilities though, those logos I did took way longer than I thought they would. But I'm up for anything, the more stuff we can come up with the better, we need to show MLS and the other supporter groups how its done.

(I'm still going to play on Bigsoccer, its cool to get a feel of whats going on with fans from around the league.)

Sorry to turn this into a Czar-Cup reunion thread... but yeah I still post here and there on BS as well. It's nice to have the BS point of view but this forum is also great as a RSL-fan watering hole. Anyway nice to see you're back.

Yeah I was told by Dave (our VP) and Chris Keeney (director of sales) that they were going to push for STHs this week. They even wanted me to update the website to make sure we all had the most accurate info!
Anyway, I hope they get to sell a lot of tickets!
Any idea if Ken Jennings or President Gordon B. Hinckley were contacted? 🙂

You have an odd obsession with Ken Jennings, you might want to get some help with that.

I'd love to sit next to Ken Jennings at matches. "Did you know that soccer originated in the year.....? It was originally played with a ball made of ....."

I got called this week, too. I also wasn't home. I'd be interested in hearing info on the flexible ticket packages, though.

I am not sure if I should be offended that you think I have an obsession or that you think I am more fixated on Jennings then Pres. Hinckley??? :D
