Ok, a flag question. I guess I am going to make a flag instead of one of those German style banners. Alot of flags looks alot better I'm sure than alot of those banners.

Anyway, any idea on flag pole restrictions? On the FC Dallas website they limit their flagpoles to 36".

http://fc.dallas.mlsnet.com/MLS/fcd/fans/

My hell, thats only the size of a yard stick. You wouldn't even be able to make a very big flag if thats the size of your flag pole. I was going to say we need to ask the FO but then again, maybe if they don't tell us anything we can kind of make as big of a flag as we want.

Originally I wanted to make a huge flag, like the size of a Queen size bed sheet. But what would I do with the flag once I get done waiving it? Just lay it down on the ground and get everyone around me mad because of my annoying flag?

What is proper flag etiquette?

First of all, I agree with you that lots of flags look better than lots of German banners.

I'm wondering about flag pole restrictions too, we should find that out.

I think if we roll up the flag when not in use so it's basically just a pole, then it shouldn't cause any problems on the ground or under the seats. You have tickets in the Loyalist section right? I don't think any of us will be too upset about flags and such paraphanelia (sp?) hanging around. You might have more problems if you are half way up in the "family home evening" section :p

Careful, I'll be sitting in the FHE section with my wife and child. However, until the Loyalist section gets bigger and stronger, Mr. Checkets will be counting on the "FHE" section to bring in the profits. So lets be nice to those people. We need them in the seats. The Loyalists should not look down on the casual fans. Casual fans are important. Ask the Jazz.

Anyway, the flag looks great. I wish I had the time and creativity to do a flag. I think I lack more creativity than time. Of course most of my free time is spent here.

Though I could suggest making a flag as a "FHE" project?!?!? 🙄
A flag with my family name on it!!!! :D
Maybe not a bad idea.

GO ReAL!!!!

That is a great idea, and sorry if I wasn't clear: I love the FHE section and don't look down on the casual fans at all! All I said was The Cup might have more problems with his giant flag in that section surrounded by casual fans than he would in the Loyalists section. Not that casual fans are bad or anything, they just might not appreciate the giant flag as much! I hope you see what I mean.

We should designate different sections of Loyalists fans such as "Loyalists North" (north of SLC), "Loyalists Downtown" (in the valley), "Loyalists Montana", and "Loyalists UC" (south of SLC). Then we could put the different locales on the flags by our geographic sections.

If you're the Southern Division, what does that make us down here in SoCal (aka Lake San Diego?).

On second thought, don't answer that.

Hey Czar... Do you have an availability date on a flag or two?

I need to get it so I can have some minor MODS done before 4/16

Lemme know!

Thanks
