For those of you who don't get the emails, I thought I'd give you a peek at this week's. Even those of you who aren't Loyalists technically can enjoy this one, on the house. 😉 I'll start a new thread for a couple of the things in here separately, too.

** UPCOMING EVENTS
Wed., June 5th – Catolica @ RSL: 7:30 p.m.
Sat., June 11th – RSL @ LA: 8:00 p.m. This game will be broadcast on Fox Soccer Channel.
Sat., June 18th – RSL @ San Jose: 8:00 p.m. This game will be broadcast on HDNet and FSN.

** TAILGATE FOR WEDNESDAY
The official word from the king of tailgate is that everyone is welcome to get together before the Wednesday game, but no car-b-que or food will be provided. Come early to meet other Loyalists in the southwestern corner of the parking lot directly to the west of Rice-Eccles stadium. Bring your own food and get ready to cheer the team.

** MOTM UPDATES

Congratulations to our winners during these past weeks! Accept our apologies that we aren’t providing full details for these MOTM winners. Keep sending in your comments, and we’ll do a more formal write-up again soon! Votes for Man of the Match can be emailed to rslmotm [at] gmail.com. Votes should be sent before 5 p.m. on the Monday following games. Votes for Wednesday games will be accepted through the following Monday if you specify which match you are voting for.

** ROADTRIP WITH THE LOYALISTS!
Mark your calendars for Sept. 30th-Oct. 2nd for a road trip to watch RSL beat the Colorado Rapids. The Loyalists will be hiring a bus to drive us out overnight (after work) on Friday, Sept. 30th and home on Sunday, Oct. 2nd.

We will be making arrangements to buy a large block of tickets together at the game, and we will be arranging hotel arrangements for Saturday night. Altogether, the cost will likely be under $150! Watch your newsletter each week for more information about this great opportunity.

** WATCH PARTY FOR UPCOMING GAMES
Join the Loyalists at Iggy’s to watch away games. Come early this Saturday to meet other Loyalists before watching the game!

** ROCKY MOUNTAIN CUP FUNDRAISER
Coming soon! The Rocky Mountain Cup’s Committee of 10 (C10) will be continuing their fundraising efforts for RMC very soon. There will be excellent signed RSL merchandise for sale on eBay, so bid often to support this competition. The Colorado Rapids supporters have already earned over $1,000 toward the competition, so let’s show our support and outdo their contributions! This is the supporter’s leg of the competition, Rapids fans versus RSL fans! See www.rockymountaincup.com for more information or to make a donation.
