What will make MLS more exciting?

To keep MLS exciting, the league has to be careful about expanding too fast.

If expansion occurs too quickly, there's a danger of spreading the talent too thinly -- right now, we don't have the talent pool of most of the FIFA Top 15 teams because soccer is an emerging sport.

I'm afraid that if too many teams are added too quickly, we'll see a lot of mediocre teams.

Or even worse, multiplication of the Cheetos and Crapids syndrome.

Just having a league expands the talent pool in the long term. More and more kids are playing soccer longer due in large part to having a league here in the country. Compare the talent level now to 1996. We don't have any actors making teams now.

It is still embarassing for the league that he was on the squad.

"Billy" was not the worst player on the '96 Galaxy.

He even finished his MLS career with an assist! I think that the Galaxy won more games with him on the field than the Metros did with Steve Shak or the Earthquakes did with Chris Carrieri.

That is even more embarassing.

Sorry Nessie. I actually went for a run (shuffle) this morning and am a bit out of it.

I actually didn't know the name of his character. I just knew his actual name. I did hear that it boosted attendance.
