However the two words of which you refer do not actually appear together.
The first of the two words appears in the plural form.
while the second word, in fact, does not appear at all, that I can see.
Please correct me if i am mistaken. thanks

You're right. I should have gone back and read Neil's post before I posted that. I was kind of saying it tongue in cheek, however. So, now I have egg on my face. I'll live.

Back to what Neil was saying about the "culture" of this board: I do like that I can come here and not get attacked personally. I have avoided posting to newsgroups because of personal attacks against me. I realize that there is a degree of anonimity to newsgroups, even though I have met Deuce (tailgate), Mr. Stucki (tailgate), and the Bardguy(former teacher) in person. That anonimity often allows people to act out their dark side and be real jerks. I'm glad that this hasn't happened to me on this board. I come here and it's like I'm hanging out with friends. If I've offended anyone on this board, I do apologize. Sometimes my attempts at humor are misinterpreted.

Several of us have that problem. Usually we try to fix it by going back and pointing out we were attempting humor of some sort. The emoticons help, but my sarcasm is much funnier in person.

I believe you met Aero & Lucky 13 at the same lame tailgate. The only lame one to date, I might add.

I realized that when I talked to you at the tailgate, you had me and my son laughing. BTW, I was trying to be humorous when I said this site would get crawled and perverts would find it. If anyone hasn't been to a tailgate yet, I would suggest you do it just so you can meet Stuki.

You bring up an excellent point Dadof8(if that is your real name 😉 )

My rule of thumb is that I try not to put anything on this forum that I would not in all honesty say to someones face... That has generally kept things easy-going. at least for me anyway!

I don't want to reuse those particular words again just because I don't want to increase it's ranking. Some of you might remember that a group of people went along posting the words, "miserable failure" on newsgroups along with a link to George W. Bush's biography on WhiteHouse.gov in order to increase the ranking for miserable failure being linked to George W. Bush. I really don't want the wrong kind of traffic coming to this Web site because it has those words on it.

Okay, now you can see what a geek I really am, because I'm worried that perverts are going to find this site because of two words that should have never been used next to each other ever.
I have been teaching middle school too long. I was looking for the wrong words that start with those letters. :o

I must be a teacher, I cam back and edited spelling errors. 🙁 :o

I'm a quality control guy for my company. If I find spelling or grammar errors in my posts, I'll come back and fix them. Sometimes I can be real anal about it, other times I could care less. It just depends on if RSL is winning or not. Right now, I'm probably not fixing too many errors and that's indicative of RSL's record.

Hey, was anyone listening to Bill Riley's show this P.M? He's afriad to go to San Jose because he's never experienced an earthquake. I wanted to call and tell him that it's no different than turbulence on an airplance, but maybe that scares him too. I'll start a new thread about earthquake experiences.

Oh no, I just noticed a spelling error in my edit. I'm not fixing that one.
