Cool. Next paycheck I'm getting some. I'm glad Pastorino was cool about it.

So is anyone still interested in any RSL baby/toddler clothing?
Are you sure that he fully understood what you were doing? I have a hard time imagining the team just looking the other way when someone might be making a profit using their logo. I guess I could be wrong though. You may want to make absolutely sure it is okay though to avoid any trouble down the road.

Aero, Hiba isn't making a profit off of it. Well CafePress is, but Hiba is selling them at "cost".

Lets see what Jules is able to find.

I'm still not sure that they want their merchandise being sold by anyone but them. It's not just a matter of whether or not someone makes a profit on it or not. They don't want people buying from Hiba instead of themselves. For every person that buys something from Hiba it is someone that didn't buy from them where they don't get anything from that sale.

Besides, isn't CafePress owned by a Crapids fan? I've heard that, but I'm not sure if it is true or not. If it is, we don't want to have him making any profits, especially off of RSL gear. 🙂

Steve and Trey have both been very flexible with licensing and legal issues. (Such as allowing us to sell signed photos of the players for the Rocky Mountain Cup.) I personally would like to just take advantage of their generosity by making infant/toddler gear with our own designs rather than the official RSL logo, but whatever. I think we could come up with some cool stuff on our own. If I have a few minutes later I'll draw up some options.

I think that original ideas are a great option. Then there would be no legal issues at all. I just don't want to see anyone get in trouble because of a lack of communication and/or misunderstanding. I think with something like this it is better to be safe than sorry.

I don't have any inside info on this but I believe if RSL intended to sell toddler and infant products they might say something.

Maybe Steve is allowing because there are no plans as of yet to cater to that market.
Just a thought.
They are not losing revenue from a product they would not have marketed anyway.

Hiba’s at work so she can’t respond, but when she was speaking with Pastorino, she said the idea was to make the gear for the Loyalists. That was when he changed from ‘contact the office’ to ‘if we don’t know, just go ahead and do it’. So it sounds like if we keep it as an exclusive Loyalists fashion line, they won’t have a problem with it.

I wonder if that is because he thought that we would start using the Loyalist logo instead of the RSL logo. I'm really not trying to be a wet blanket on this, because I would love to see it happen. I just don't want to see any problems arise from something like this.
