Fabian Taylor has not been renewed by the Metros.

Is he a trouble maker or something?
Why are Metros not keeping him?
I mean c'mon the metros need all the help they can get!

1)He is a Jamaican International, thus a SI
2)I think he was asking for more than minimium.

Perhaps we can have his good buddy Andy Williams talk to him...?

OK Thanks.
If he is asking more than minimum, can we afford him?

$90,000 at least. Don't know if RSL can afford him, but if anyone can, RSL can.

Here are some good links to read more about him. I think he is awesome.

He has been great, I'd love to see him in an RSL uni.

The Metros, like certain other MLS teams in large metropolitan areas like, um, the Galaxy; always get the good allocations from the league.

So maybe the Metros have some high-profile guy coming in?

He has no WCQ duty next year, that's a plus.

Nick Garcia and other Wizards might be looking for somewhere else to play soon. Talks about it here

Garcia and Meola are not the only Wizards whose contracts expire at the end of the calendar year, with Jose Burciaga Jr. and Kerry Zavagnin in the same boat. Garcia emphasized the expansion of possibilities with two new teams coming into the league for the 2005 season with Real Salt Lake and CD Chivas USA, but also for himself, options overseas.

"There are still some possibilities for me abroad, but at the same time possibility of getting something done. Right now it's just going to be a matter of looking at things and taking it day by day. I'm not in a rush by any means. I'm not going to jump at the first thing that's out there. I'd be a fool to do that," Garcia said.

"There are still possibilities -- hopefully we can get something done here with the league soon, but know who knows. We have two more teams coming into the league. That's a good possibility for more employment, but now we have our own problems."

Garcia would be fantastic! He's mellowed out as far as his temper, and he's a solid, solid defender. Plus, I had an experience with the guy where he was a class act. But, I won't bore all of you here.

Now, I know I may get flamed for this but here's my opinion on forwards. I think we should take Fabien over Cleatus. Clint has awesome skills and a cannon of a foot, but he's a headache otherwise. I don't know about Taylor's attitude, but it would be a plus to for Andy to have familiar player to feed the ball to. And anyone who's seen Taylor play knows he can finish. He had some spectacular goals last year.

I will now duck and cover behind something flame resistant.
