That's an interesting little bit of trivia there, Braveheart. As Johnny Carson would say, "I did not know that."

I saw Mathis tonight (Sun) on Sportsbeat. Of course, there was no real conversation with the so- called tv personality.

Overall, though, I really love Mathis' swagger. He is just supremely confident in his game despite the way it's been so far.

It's almost like he knows something we don't. Like the second half of the season will be this big breakout and he knows it and isn't worried.

Please, please let that be the case.

Chivas exploded for five goals versus fellow expansion team Real Salt Lake, but are still in the cellar in the Western Conference. Clint Mathis notched the lone goal for RSL, his first of the season, prompting John Ellinger to point to his watch as Cleetus ran back up the field.

Now THAT is what I'd like to have a picture of! I nearly fell out of my chair, reading it! 👍

I wonder if he really did it. I wouldn't put it past him. :cool3: John Ellinger is my new hero! 🕺

As long as he didn't do the other half of Clint's Hannover gesture.

I'm just glad he finally got one.
