Utah has the monopoly on little kids believed to be dead being found alive!

Great news!

This article doesn't contain any information that we don't already know. But it's interesting to see news about this here.

I can read Spanish, but would you want to translate it for those that don't? I'll try my best, if you like, but Portuguese is my forte.

Sorry, but I've been pretty much a jerk about this since the kid was found. He hid from the search parties because he didn't want to get stolen, but then hung out in the woods for four days...in June..near a lake. He had water close by and was gone over the weekend, I call that camping. :p

I'm glad he's back and that he's safe, but a miracle it is not. If this was January and he was on the side of a mountain in a snowstorm, maybe. We're a little quick to use the term miracle around here.

It's a wire service story. It's pretty much the same things that we already know.

I just thought that it is pretty interesting that La Opinion's editors thought it was important.

There are worse disasters in life than Chivas USA.

Is it a miracle he survived? No, I don't think so. Its a miracle that a mother gets to hold her son after pretty much coming to terms that he is probably dead. If you've never had something horrible happen to your child, I tell you NOTHING will make you drop to your knees quicker...and yes, thank God for even the small "miracles"

Don't get me wrong, the kid should be slapped, but how much blame do you put on an 11 yr old.

Aww...It's okay. My mom cried too.
BTW: Cut the kid some slack, he was just following directions from his father. it's amazing he even survived that long.

I don’t know how credible this gossip is, but a friend of a sister of a coworker (something like that) is a teacher at the school that the kid goes to and supposedly they think he has autistic-like behaviors or some other sort of issues going on. That may have contributed to his behavior or maybe to getting lost in the first place.
