Only when he's playing for the U.S. Men's team. 🙂

I know... why was a schedule so clumped together with playing the Galaxy. Like i say "I'm a Donovan fan, unless we are playing against him."

Don't worry. Ellinger and Doug Hamilton, LA GM, "worked it out" that when Beckham goes to LA we get LD.

Wow, I did not know that actually. Why is it that we played all four games agains that galazy before the mid-point of the season?

That is very interesting...I'm still just learning about how MLS works, sorry for the lame question.

EDIT: this is a sincere question

We play everyone in the western conference four times total: twice at home and twice at "their home." We play everyone in the eastern conference twice total, one in RES and once at their place. (All of this not counting playoffs.)

It's interesting that we have played LA four times, but haven't played New England at all yet, etc. (Thank heavens.....)

Can someone please give me a quick and dirty primer on the playoffs? It would be much appreciated...

Okay, correct me if I'm wrong. But this is what it seems like to me from the literature I've read (and from playing Fifa 2005). The best 4 teams in the west and the best 4 teams in the east go into the playoffs. The first round is a series of two games and whomever has the highest aggregate of goals goes to the next round. There are extra minutes for tie breakers and penalty kick shootouts if the extra minutes end in a tie.

Yes, the team with the better record gets the second game at home. The MLS Cup is a one and done game.
