I am a little confused with all the new smilies, but it is fine. Will there be a section to post actual writing rather than just the rants of the normal forum?

That's what this section is. Only people designated as "Press" can post a new thread or new poll in the two "Main Page" sections. Once it is posted here as a thread, the first post is mirrored on the main page as a story.

If anyone has a story they think is worthy of the scrutiny of RSL fans, go ahead and PM me and we'll see if we can't get you set up.

👍
Just a suggestion: A button to go to the main page from the forum. I think you can already go the other way.
