What a surprise! My wife and I went to our weekly DR. appointment yesterday for the pregnancy and we were told that she was at a five. He asked us if we were having another c-section and we said we would on the 12th and he told us we should do it today, which was yesterday.
I couldn't believe it. We go in for a check up and come out with a baby girl. It only took an hour for my wife to be prepped for the c-section and to deliver the baby girl. No labor pains at all. Much nicer than the first time around. Anyway, her name is Hanna Mae Bird and she was 6 lbs 15 oz and 18 inches long. That's my girl, Holy Hanna!!! π PS - Hanna could have seen her first soccer game today if the hospital would have had FSC. I think all hospitals should have that channel. I'm going to start a petition. π

Hmmm this sounds very (VERY) familiar. That's kind of how my first son arrived.
And sort of how the twins arrived too. "Do you want to do an amnio today to just check?" "Okay" "Okay, the amnio's done and by the way, go directly to labor and delivery becaue the babies are coming today if they're ready." "Oh." I just have to throw this out there... You're in Orem... Is your wife's OB/GYN Jae Baxter? This sounds so like him!
