I still think a lot of this is a slap at SLC. A nagging voice inside me tells me that if the team chose Sandy, Dolan would have legislators tripping over themselves to put up money. Curtis would see to that.

LOL No, that is why I requested the mr be dropped from my handle. Not even my students call me Mr. Stucki, unless they want something.

I chose mostly public. The problem with private funding is that they will want favors in return. Dallas had quite a bit of private funding and now their stadium will forever be called "Pizza Hut Park". See what I mean? If the public funds most of it, we can title our stadium something more relevant to our team and it's city. We won't have to constantly appease the investors with rediculous advertising scheams that lessen the RSL experience.

I wouldn't mind watching the games in Sinclair stadium if it got us block 40.

Niether would I, but the poll is in regards to the most ideal situation. Ideally we would be downtown at a stadium called Crown of the Mountains.

However 2 million a year for 15 years to FC Dallas from Pizza Hut isn't going to faze the Dallas fans too much.

That's true. Let's just hope that the Dallas fans can come up with a great nickname for their beautiful new stadium VERY quickly.
