Mint-Chocolate Chip Cookies

Ok, You all keep telling me they were good so I'll tell you how to make them. But I tell you now, they're just chocolate chip cookies with mint chips in them!

Oven Temperature: 375 degrees

Recipe:
1/2 C. Butter
1/2 C. Shortening
1 C. Brown sugar
1/2 C. Grantulated Sugar
1/2 Tsp. Baking Soda
2 Eggs
1 Tsp. Vanilla
2 1/2 C. All-purpose Flour
Slightly less than a half a bag of mint chips
Slightly less than a half a bag of chocolate chips

Directions (You don't necissarily have to follow them but I personally think they taste better if you do.):
First beat the butter and shortening together. Then add all the sugar and baking soda, blend all that. Then add your eggs and vanilla, mix well. Pour in your 2 1/2 C. flour, mix as much as you can with the mixer on low speed and then use a wooden spoon to stir in the rest. Stir in the chips with the wooden spoon also. Bake each batch for about 8 minutes, or, of course, until golden brown on top.

If you guys have questions feel free to ask through posting or PM's I don't care. I know directions aren't exactly great but I was feeling lazy and I have the recipe memorized so I just said it all in my own words.

The best part of the cookies is the smell coming from the oven as they are baking.
