The only player who looks like he came to play is Chris Armas--no surprise.

Dempsey has shown some skill.

Casey? Not sure why he's in the rotation.

And there's a goal by Dempsey, 45th minute.

I take back my "Beasley to Dempsey" comments.

Actually, those are the only two guys here that I hope to see on the World Cup team.

Concur.

So we make a bad half look OK by salvaging a goal.

Would not want to be in the US locker room about now.

Great run and shot by Dempsey.

East Texas boy, you know. ⚽

The announcers said that Dempsey was not offside.

The last time Cuba scored against the US was in 1949, in a qualifier for the 1950 World Cup.

Yeah, it's easy to blame Sanneh but someone else should have been back.

Yeah, it's easy to blame Sanneh but someone else should have been back.

There was one camera angle that showed Dempsey on. I sure thought he was off when the play happened.

Sure, Sanneh should have had help, but he missed the clear. He's responsible for what's in front of him.

Of course, I've never been a fan of the three back. I'm a 4-4-2 guy all the way. So the lack of that fourth defender didn't help.

Yeah, on the replay Dempsey looked a lot more onside(s) than I had previously thought.

I wish I spoke better Spanish. These soccer guys talk about a mile a minute.

Hey, we're playing again.

Snuck up on Telefutura, I guess.

Good shot by Cuba, too.

Already it's a livelier game.

Side netting for Dempsey.

And a straight red on Cuba--Ben Olsen takes one in the chest. That's gotta hurt.

Telefutura = Dish 831. Not sure about other providers.

Nice karate chop on Olsen.
