FOOTBALLER PUTS SPORTS ON HOLD TO SERVE A MISSION

CAMBRIDGE, England - Luke Hughes has always wanted to be a
professional footballer. But after two years playing for Cambridge City
Football Club, he has decided to put his sporting ambitions on hold to go
on a two-year mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
"I love football. It is what I have always wanted to do," he said. "But
this is a lot more important to me. I want to help people to come into the
Church and then I will get back into football."

Maybe a future pick up for RSL!
Come on, why not? 😉

Does anyone else see it as ironic that this guy could make more money playing for a Coca Cola Championship team than he could at RSL?

And if he's not good enough for a Coca Cola team, I don't want him taking up a foreigner spot at RSL.

Why not?
Its not like RSL doesn't have about 6 empty foreigner spots right now.

He'd help draw a GREAT crowd here just because he went on his mission. I'd almost gurantee it!
