OK, then it gets down to this:

You like Italian/Spanish soccer better? GolTV.

You like English/German soccer better? FSC.

If I absolutely had to choose, I'd go with GolTV for Serie A and La Liga.

With DK, you usually get the FSC MLS games.

If you like the Premiership and want highlights from everywhere, then FSC would be better. Unfortunately, the way rights have been sold at this point you ahve to get both to get Spanish and English football. It's a bummer, but that's the way it is--for now.

As for news and highlights, FSC is far superior to GolTV, especially since much of the GolTV studio programming is dubbed in English over the Spanish original. Sometimes quite a lot can be lost in translation.

When I first got FSC (or Fox Sports World as it was back then) they carried Serie A and I could get La Liga through a weekly game on ESPN2. But that programming went away, and thankfully GolTV came along.

I don't know what ESPN Deportes carries now, but I had that for awhile and was disappointed with it. Maybe someone else can give you another opinion.

I hope this is helping and not making it more confusing.

I wish I could just afford to get an antena so I can get local channels... perhaps I will get cable/dish and all the fun channels when and if I ever get a raise.

We have DirecTV with Tivo, and I have no clue what packages we have but I do know that we get FSC.
