It is amazing what happens when the team actually starts scoring goals.

Yay! Go Cleetus!

So do the players actually hear about this or is it mostly for the fans to brag about?

I'm assuming they know. I've seen halftime interviews with players where the interviewer brought up them receiving goal of the week honors and they have always seemed aware of it. I don't know if it is a big deal to them though. Its mostly for the fans, I think.

Either way, yay Cleetus! 👏

From reviewing ppl's comments on BS I really do think Mathis won this fair and square.
Mathis's goal truly was the Goal of the Week.
