Hey, I never said he was going to, I was saying IF he did. Don’t worry, I would be the first one in line grabbing his leg and trying to force him to stay here 😛

Quakes decision nearing
AEG SAYS TEAM'S FATE WILL BE KNOWN WITHIN MONTH By Dylan Hernandez Mercury News The Anschutz Entertainment Group will make a decision on what to do with the Earthquakes within the next month, Chief Operating Officer Scott Blackmun said Tuesday. ``We're within 30 days of making an announcement of some sort,'' said Blackmun, whose company is the investor-operator of the team. AEG has ``not eliminated any possibilities,'' including retaining ownership of the Earthquakes and either moving them or keeping them in San Jose, Blackmun said. Asked if the team could be moved to Houston under AEG's watch, Blackmun replied, ``I'd rather not say.'' Blackmun said AEG is in talks with cities and investors outside the Bay Area, though he would not name them. Mexican soccer power Club America is not one of them. AEG has not been approached by any San Jose-based investor group, he said. | |||||
