All-Star tomorrow with Sunday return

I don't ordinarily post here, but I just received an e-mail from Chris Keeney from the FO and apparently there is a ticket available with travel included to the all star game. It was sent to Glenn, dysko, and myself, and I don't know if the other two are online right now.

I just got a message back from our group desk and they will not allow a refund or credit on any unused group tickets. They are being very strict and I am not sure that I like it. Let me know if you have someone else to travel on the unused ticket.

This kills me to post this, because I know that I can't go...but here goes:

Just to clarify… we have two extra airline tickets, one hotel room and two game tickets for the All Star Game on Saturday in Columbus. I felt we should offer it to you first, for all of your support of RSL – the only cost being the cost of the name change with the airline ($50/airline ticket). If you’re interested and can work within our itinerary (depart tomorrow and return on Sunday), follow up with Stacy.

UPDATE:

I just spoke with Stacy at the FO and she said that you will have to come up with your own room...they thought that they had an extra room at the Hyatt and they just found out they don't.

In addition, there is only one ticket left.

Well, it turns out that it isn't as great a deal as originally believed. When they had two tickets, they had a room, but since it turned out that they only had one ticket, that room was taken. And the hotel they were staying at was totally booked. Which meant that you whoever ends up going will have to find their own hotel and spring for it.

So, whoever is next in line after me *coughBardguycough* the ball is in your court.
