Unbelievable!

It would appear that Colorado, not RSL, holds the record for the longest scoreless streak.

Check out http://usasoccer.blogspot.com/ and go down to the Sunday July 31st entry.

But until it is official we still hold the dubious honor... is it going to be made official so we can give the cRapids there due for keeping there mouthes closed and allowing us to believe we were the worst?

Well, if we'd known this a few weeks ago, it would have saved a lot of heart-wrenching drama about the best way to commemorate the un-event.

Hmmm. I guess this means we have the longest scoring drought that took place within the same season, but the Rapids have the longest drought that overlapped 2 seasons.

In any case, let's hope we don't suffer such a drought again.

I wondered about this when you set the record, but never bothered to look up how long ours was, I just assumed those who were checking facts knew what they were doing. I know that we had the longest prior to your new record.

RSL - Longest single-season scoreless streak
Rapids - Longest multi-season scoreless streak

RSL - Longest losing streak to Chivas USA :heh:

One game equals a streak now? Or did you forget that we beat them at home?

Yeah. We are tied with the revolution for the longest losing streak to Chivas at one. I am confident our losing streak to the Goats will end this weekend.
