I don't mind so much. All the other american leagues do this. Its how they get some publicity. MLS wants their stars (Landon, Eddie, Adu) to be known far and wide.

As long as they pick some good eye-candy. The last time this was done I wasn't impressed with the choices.---<:O(

I wonder if any RSLers will make the grade. Cletus is a natural choice because he has a little of the stardom factor working in his favor. He's not terribly hard on the eyes either, although I might also recommend... errr.... I better keep those recommendations to myself.

I could think of a few RSL'ers I'd like to see-- Cletus wouldn't be a bad choice but there are others I'd put ahead of him.

Pope Eddie has a lot of the classic good-looking features. I wonder what he'd look like if he ever smiled.
Cabrera and Gregorio seem quite attractive from the couple pictures I've seen. Also Adam Acosta and Jamie Watson. And maybe Andy Williams and Seth Trembly and Rusty Pierce and Whatshisname Scarlett and Paul Broome and Jay Nolly and... Okay, I'll stop. I'm just having fun. All that would really matter is name recognition plus some hint of goodlookingness for the magazine thing. Hence: Cletus + Pope Eddie = Good Choices.

Eddie actually smiled at me when i talked to him about politcal science. I studied philosophy and political science and had a friend that Eddie may or may not have gone to school with at North Carolina. He was very friendly and all of a sudden i liked Eddie a lot more. At first he seems aloof, but i guess he is more shy. At the dentist today the tech said Dunseth was her favorite.

I met Eddie when the Nats were in Houston. He does seem to be a bit on the quiet/shy side. He was very nice to us. I'm right there with the tech at your dentist office--Dunseth is my favorite as well.
