i see the zoobies are good at stuffing polls as well. seriously though.....bronco "the horse" mendenhall's promotion as the best change? ha, thats a good one. nothing would make me happier than to see byu fail at everything they tried, especially football. except rsl winning mls cup. 1984.....farce, and everyone outside of provo knows it. time for the zoobs to accept reality and move on.

ooooo. FINALLY checketts reveals some interesting stuff about the SSS. says that he wants to be digging by early next year, so some decision has to be made by labor day. also says there are 5 possible sites they are looking at. no cons to going downtown except the politics. really wants to go downtown.

continues by saying that his goal is to do the whole thing privately with the exception of land, wants some land to be given. really wants to get these things done in the next 3-4 weeks.

doesnt like the notion that the community thinks he is asking for a handout and says that he is NOT taking this team anywhere else, it wont move in his lifetime and after.

ellingers job is safe, says he does not fire a coach unless the coach is moving in the wrong direction and ellinger is doing the right thing. ellinger is our coach "for a long long time". the players are going to have to play for him, not the other way around. wants to create stability with few changes.
