The deal with Hannover 96 for Mathis is reported to have at least two exhibition matches between the two clubs b4 2008

Sounds cool, but shouldn't we be hearing similar word from Real Madrid?

First time ever
When they made the Mathis announcement, they said it was the first time ever and MLS team had signed a Home and Home deal with a foreign club.

This thread is ancient!

The matches are supposed to happen sometime before the 2008 season.

Steve Pastorino went on record and said that these matches will not happen this season.
