New Year's Resolutions RSL players' and others' resolutions
So I was thinking, what are your resolutions? Mine: - Do well in school for once - Watch RSL win it all __________________

Mine are pretty simple really!
1) Try to go to bed each day just a little bit better off than I was when I woke up! (ie. Improve myself a little bit or learn something new each day) 2) To go to bed each night and not have smoked a cigarette that past day! (I quit back on April 15th... taking it day by day) 3) Improve my relationship with my son... 4) Channel my energy into constructive, rather than self-destructive, activities.

Deuce, your New Year's Resolution should be to not change that avatar. That thing is cool. Do keep trying though to not smoke, your body will thank you. You are showing alot of strength though already if you haven't had one since April!
Honestly, I don't make New Year's Resolutions because I never keep them. I just live my life by a simple code, "Just go with the flow, like a twig on the shoulders of a mighty stream." (Planes, Trains and Automobiles) Last edited by the cup : 12-31-2004 at 07:31 PM.

1- be as cool as my kids think I am.
2- not be as doofy as my kids think I am. 3- do a home/yard repair or two 4- read 14 books

My New Year's Resolutions:
1-Survive the rest of pregnancy 2-Survive having two small babies plus a toddler 3-Do more nonfiction reading (14 books is about a month's supply for me, but murder mysteries aren't exactly educational) 4-Learn from any pain that comes into my life, instead of cursing it 5-Lose at least 20 pounds (I plan to do this in about 24 hours, so I think I've got this one covered!)

I usually don't do New Year resolutions, but my committments for this year are: to be a better father, better priesthood holder, better husband and eat less.
I have also come to the realization that my life, unfortunately/fortunately does not revolve around soccer. It revolves around my wife and my babies, which is good. So I probably won't be making any Utah trips any time soon. Sorry. RSL's first home match is exactly one week before my wife is due with my son. However, Direct Kick maybe in my future. 🙂 Smile more in 2005
