The Many Talents of Brian Dunseth I must admit, I was going to hold off on posting this but now that I have learned that someone who shall remain nameless sent my video to Jamie, who then showed the whole team, there doesn’t seem to be any point in waiting any longer. Before I go any further, I need to back up a little and explain. I'm learning German, so I, along with Rover, convinced my mom to go for the SuperDish so we could get international channels. For $9.95 a month, we get one channel that is basically a compilation of shows on the major networks in Germany. Anyway, one day Rover called me and my brothers in to watch a show by the name of “Achim’s Hitparade,” which, we were to learn, is basically a talent call in show, a la American Idol. The gimmick is that instead of performing live in a studio they record their song and "perform" it whilst walking through city streets, vineyards, Swiss countryside, you name it. He had caught the end of it the previous day and found it so hilarious that he wanted us to watch some of it with him. What has this got to do with anything, you ask? Nothing really, except that as we were watching this show, we couldn't help but find the guitar player for one of the contestant bands (Bergwind, which means Mountain Wind) a bit familiar. Just for fun, I copied the show to DVD, uploaded it to my computer, and made a little video of it. I won't say any more then that. It would ruin the fun. Just watch for yourself, and see if you see the same thing. 😉
Click here to watch! Thanks Hiba for hosting the video and for assisting in the thread name. 🙂

This was hilarious. I'd pay to see anyone ask him about this. It would be ask the question and then run for your life.

It's not him. But you have to admit, you have to check it a few times before you're sure. That and the whole singing in German and strolling through the Südtirol thing. __________________

Oh man I'm getting homesick for the Alps. Watching that video made me realize that I consider Austria home, even though I only lived there for six months. I have the frequent flyer miles, just not the babysitter... *sigh*

I know its not him, and I hope I didn't give the impression that I ever really thought it was. I just found it funny. BTW, I agree that its good "he" wasn't the accordian player. Quote:
I'm glad you enjoyed it! The video is taken from a segment of a German TV show, and sure, go ahead and share it. :dancing: Last edited by Hermey : 08-26-2005 at 04:49 PM. Reason: Grammar mistake
