What did you think about Nolly vs. DC?
Do you think he will (should) Nolly start against NE?

I think that he should start Nolly. At this point Nolly is a good option.
Countess had several bad games and i think that Nolly deserves the same courtesy.
Everyone is entitled to a bad game. I don't blame Nolly for 4 of the 5 goals.
The one goal that slipped between his legs on the rebound could have been handled better.

the other 4 I blame the midfield because if they would have come out of the locker room last night then the back 4 would not have had to pick up the slack and try to carry the mids.

Thier midfield ran all over ours and they were able to consistantly put the ball forward.
A fault at midfield means our back 4 were defending for the entire 90 minutes. you are bound to break them down and exploit weak spots in that amount of time.

4 of those 5 goals should have never gotten passed the midfield.

I like Nolly and I would like to see him get a few games more before I personnaly pass judgement.

However, I am sure Eillinger wants to make a decision on the GK ASAP, or at least I hope he does.

Sorry DJ, I'm ready to have Nolly close out the season and see what we can get for COuntess over the summer (if anything).

Point of clarification...I agree but only blame 2 of our 4 (1st half) or 5 (2nd half) midfielders...quick, does anyone remember either Williams or Mathis doing anything defensively yesterday?

Now to the point of the thread...NE likes to attack the flanks and swing in crosses...no brainer for Nolly.

Nolly did a great job, but I want to see Countess in the net this Saturday. No brilliant reasoning. Just my gut feeling. (My apologies to Jay.)

Agree. Anyone remember the last time we played the Revolution?

I know a lot of coaches don't like to do this, but if it were me, I'd choose based on the style of play the other team usually uses. If they're big on crosses, PLAY NOLLY!!! If not, I think DJ has a lot better reflexes.
