Landon Donovan Featured In This Week's Sports Illustrated
Did anyone see this week's SI with Landon Donovan in it? He said he was on a flight with Drew Carey and found out that Drew Carey is a Galaxitive season ticket holder. I would have never guessed that Drew Carey is a soccer fan, I knew he was a Cleveland Browns fan, but not soccer. That's cool, even if it is the Galaxatives.

👍
Yes, and publicize it as much as possible. Maybe some Drew Carey fans will be converted because it's now "IN".

Oh yeah on TV they made a big deal about Drew Carry flying out to a qualifier (in T&T I think) earlier this year.

Drew Carey is indeed a big fan. I don't remember the exact scoop on how it come about. Drew's even a regular Deuce and has been down on the pitch for games doing photography.

Speaking of Drew Carey, my ex husband's new wife looks like Mimi on the Drew Carey show. Just had to throw that in.

Yes I remember that!
Also when Drew was on Letterman all he talked about was Soccer... the National team specifically. Letterman kept trying to change the subject but Drew could always steer the conversation back to soccer... it was cool.

Props to drew carey!

He started going to Galaxy games a few years ago as a complete novice. He says he was looking for local (LA) team to support that wouldn't get him beat up when he went back to Cleveland. There's no MLS team in Cleveland, so the Galaxy were in.

Since then he's become a big fan of club and country, and is talking up his trip to Germany next summer for the World Cup.
