Shouldn't having those games mid-week make it easier to broadcast them?

I think just the fact that they were changed was enough to screw them up. Instead of being scheduled at times where there were slots available on the team's networks, they have been moved to times where the networks have already reserved the spot for something else. I'm not a hockey/basketball fan, so I don't know if the seasons will have started by October 12th, but Altitude carries all the Nuggets and Avalanche games, so they may be playing that night. Hold on, let me check...

...looks like the NBA is still in pre-season and the Nuggets don't play until the next night, but the Avalanche have a home game scheduled for 7pm that night.

No idea what the excuse is from the RSL side for next Wedneday's game...
