Go Utes! (R)

I just wanted to be the first to say what a way to lose...

Was it just me or did a kid who had never played a down of college football put up 160 yard rushing on the Utes?

TCU 23 Utah 20 :fish:

1. I would be careful....This "kid" is playing your team next week and I've seen cougar's lack of tackling skills. He was good. No, he was great. This "kid" has some serious skills and if you didn't watch the game, I'm afraid you won't understand.

2. Is a cougar fan talking smack? After almost 2 years without a loss this is all you can muster. It must have felt like eternity waiting to post something against the Utes, and this is all you came up with. I can't wait to see what Pony's answer to TCU's offense is going to be.

Huh?
I thought dysko was a Ute fan?
I mean he lives across the street from RES.

He used the "Utes" in third person. Either that makes him a fan that talks about himself in thirdperson, or he is a coogie fan. I've seen him with his Y stuff on as well (IIRC).

I'm sure it's against the Honor Code or something like that.

I was routing for the U this game because:

1) I like the Utes AND BYU, but when they play, I'm a coug.
2) Continued dominance by one team in the conference helps the whole conference.

However, now that they've lost, the evil side of me wants to cackle with satisfaction due to the almost 2 years of crap dished out to coug fans by utes. 😆

I hold that cackle until the coogies take care of business against TCU next week. I cheer for both teams as well.

how about Brown though. Holy crap if that kid had a soccer ball growing up.

I love Zoobie talk

This TCU team you speak of, beat OU at OU and held a heisman canidate last year in check.

TDS looked pretty week again a DIV 1 AA.

Keep talking ZOOBIE

Wow. Listening to talk sports radio this morning, I'm starting to wonder if Cougar fans were waiting more for the Utes to lose or the Cougs to start winning. They sure seem to be relishing this one! (Maybe it's just because the Cougs haven't really started winning yet.) Whatever the case it seems a bit premature to be talking smack and jumping for joy when the Horned Frogs next stop is, in fact, Cougartown.

Last night the two teams seemed evenly matched, both sporting their fair share of weeknesses. I think TCU beat OU less because the Frogs are that good, and more because OU is that BAD. TCU lost to SMU because they came into that game still hungover from their OU upset. They won't be making that mistake again and should be a formidable challenge for the Y, which still has yet to prove anything at all this season.

Still, I'm not sure if that was a good or a bad way to end an 18 game winning streak. Oh well. AFA's next - GO UTES!
