Sandy really would have been the best bet for Real Salt Lake. However, considering the new options that they have offered to them, Downtown or Utah County, either one would be better then nothing. I vote for building a stadium on the old Geneva property. There they would have plenty of space to make it just like they want.

"Better than nothing" is my new catch phrase with this predicament. At this point, I'll cheer for and work toward anything that'll work. But I'll still buy more tickets in the UC. :D

I think RSL should go play at LaVell Edwards until the Orem stadium is ready.

At least they will be in Utah.

Rocky is now off to save the Spotted Owl, end Global Warming or at least ensure that grocery stores can carry my wife's beloved Citrus Zima.

It will be pretty difficult, maybe impossible; to find a mayor of Salt Lake City that the state legislature hates more than Rocky.

So does that mean that if we can talk Dave out of selling the team to Rochester until after Rocky's replacement is found; the state legislature will become a lot more generous about funding projects in SLC?

I doubt it. I don't think Rocky Enmity ever was a major part of the problem. It just adds to the satisfaction of turning down his offers.
