Actually, its more like many high ranking everbodies in SLC are excited, led by SLC Mayor Anderson.

That certainly makes it sound as if the competition for the stadium has been stepped up a notch. It sounds like the SLC mayor is going all out with this offer. If so, it might also mean that we'll have a decision soon. Considering that they just asked for an extension, I'd say a decision SHOULD be comming up shortly.😎

At least then we will know what is comming. No more arguing with all you wrong headed so & so's (just kidding). 🙄

I believe that article says that RSL's going to do a final proposal to the City on Jan. 15 (saturday?).
I assume that next week we will know where/when.

As heated and diverse as the oppinions have been on this subject, the most important consideration is simply that the decision be made. I know where I want it to be, but more than that...I want it to BE. If there's enough room to do it RIGHT, there, then I'm all for it. :D

For anyone who didn't notice the picture at the bottom of the article (I didn't notice it the first TWO times I read it), here it is:

Went passed it this morning on the Trax... there is a Muffler shop and a car dealership on the land. it is still close enough to the courthouse to ber called the courthouse (just a thought!)

I like the site just as much as any other site... I am getting pretty excited about it all.

Just hearing the fans on other boards praise Salt Lake for getting a stadium so quickly... the disbelief and envy is quite evident!
