I was so excited, I made my wife watch the changeover with me.

And if that weren't exciting enough, DirecTV will begin broadcasting GolTV, another soccer channel, in english, channel 614, on Feb 21st.

Between the ReAL matches, two dedicated soccer channels and the MLS Pass, I'm going to have to talk to my doctor about some kind of monitor to protect my brain from over-stimulation.

Let the games begin!!!

DISH has GolTV on ch. 407 (It's been there for a couple of months, I think). I mention it just in case one of you has DISH and hasn't noticed (I rarely stray into the 400s, and just happened across it one day)

Halftime of Inter/Roma right now. They play a great selection of matches.

DISH has had GolTV for at least two years. I got it when I had DISH back in Northern Virginia. GolTV is has a great mix of leagues. Got Cox Cable now--no GolTV for now.

But what a great time to be an American Soccer fan. Anybody else remember when all we had was an occasional "Soccer Made in Germany"? Yes, I'm showing my age.

Yes, I remember the days. For a time, it was my favorite TV program. I also remember watching Pele in the NASL (talk about dating myself 😲 ). Now we can get college, Natianal Team, and MLS games. It could get better, but man is it great compared to the way it was!

I think it's around $49/month or so (the 160 channel package). I could be wrong, though, since the price keeps going up about every other month 🙂

I sure wish we could order channels a la carte. I only ever watch FSW (errr...FSC), GolTV, ESPN, and the Food Network. Oh, and Simpsons repeats on Fox. So I guess I'd need 5 channels.

Thats what I thought.
Thats exactly what I want. Except I watch SciFi sometimes and my wife watches TLC.
Otherwise, can we subscribe to your a la carte stations, bordelais?

The food network? Hrmmm.... want to bring the kids over for a party this weekend? You can bring dinner... We'll provide the stimulating lack of conversation.
