Does anyone care if I post photos?

I'm not sure if anyone even cares about the photos I take at the games. My camera is slow when the flash has to recharge so I don't always get the best pictures. Deuce's photos are, by far, superior to mine. What I'm getting at is, I will leave my camera at home and just watch the game if nobody cares about the photos. But if there are people out there that like my amateurish attempts at sports photography, then I'll take my camera to the game.

Well, DUH...goober. I like your amateruish attempts at sports photography. Besides, I get to hear the excitement in your voice as you talk about that 'awesome' play so and so did, or that bad call the refs made.

The more photos the better, in my opinion. Deuce can't be everywhere at the same time. 🙂

Off-topic: Who is going to call SoccerPrime during the match so I can hear real-time that RSL won the RMC?

I think that you should take and post your photos.
One thing! If you are using flash in a stadium environment, stop!
The average flash has a Maximum Effective Range of 16 ft. Unless your subject is well within that range then don't use it. For shots of the run of play, save your battery and recharge time. If your camera lets you adjust the ISO setting then do that. Set it to the highest setting (ie 400, 800, 1600) whatever it will allow. If it does not allow specific ISO adjustments just set it to the "low-light" setting.

I will be happy to give anyone pointers on how to take better pics. There are many good photographers on this forum, I am sure they know who they are and if they are anything like me they look forward to the opportunity to talk photography. So don't be shy.

Happy shooting!

I'll call you SoccerPrime, or I'll call you Ethan, if you prefer.
