Who are you rooting for the last play-off spot? Kansas City and Metrostars are fighting for the last spot in the play-offs (otherwise the games this weekend mean nothing).
Who do want to go to the play-offs? KC takes on Dallas at PHP. Metros take on Chivas USA at the HDC. KC and Metros are tied with 44 points. They are tied in the games against each other. However KC has a goals scored, by 6. So if KC wins, Metros can only make it if they score more than 6 in beating Chivas. If KC ties, Metros either have to win or tie with 6 goals. Anyways, I was curious who you guys wanted to go to the post season and why. I am from the Northeast and feel pity on the Metros, so I am rooting for them. I am of the camp that thinks KC is a weak market and my sympathy for them doesn't extend to them making the play-offs at the expense of the Metros. Plus if Metros beat Chivas USA there is no way RSL ends up #12 out of 12.

I'm with you, I'm rooting for the MetroStars. I hope they light up the goal against Chivas this weekend. I'm not a KC fan. I try watching them, but I find their play very boring.

At least Metros winning will be in RSL's best interest.
Unless getting that #1 draft pick is more important.

I will be rooting for the Metros.
Why? #1. So RSL doesn't finish with the worst record in MLS. #2. I hate Kansas City more. They take cheap shots...remember the elbow by Bo O. to Watson's face during a corner kick? And all that transpired in a 2-4 win against RSL at RES. Remember Jason Kreis getting blind-sided in the penalty box for a no-call near the end of the game. Die KC, Die! __________________

I was just curious if wanted the Metros or the Wiz to advance so that they can have the honor of being destroyed by the Revs.

Prime, you drew me out on this one.
Those who know me would expect that i would be rooting for my hometown Wiz that I've supported since their opening game in 96. But, I frankly don't think they deserve the playoffs this year. They were in the driver's seat earlier in the season, but now have sufficiently tanked it to allow the Metros, who turned it on at the right time this year, to catch up in the standings. With that said, and the fact that the Metros game directly relates to RSLs final destination in the standings, I'm pulling for the red and black. It'll be a stressful day though. Historically the Metros are the Spain of MLS. (ie. they find ways to fantastically fall short of their potential) Last edited by mckid : 10-14-2005 at 10:14 AM.

Wow.
I totally knew McKid would post here, since I knew he was a recovering Wiz fan. If he doesn't want them to win, they have no chance. 🙂
