Drummers Would any of us who have drums (or who are considering having drums too), think it would be a good idea to get together a few times this winter to learn how to coordinate so that we can make some sweet beats. I can barely keep up with what we do now, but then, my drum would probably be the bass, so my parts, I would guess, would be simple.
Glenn, do you think you could teach us something?

That's a great idea! Like that Samba group at RES - only coordinated with chants!!

That would probably be fine. I don't think any of us can keep up with Glenn. I have noticed that I am much better now than when I started.
We need more drums. A few bass drums would be good. __________________

I don't think any of us can keep up with Glenn. That's why I was hoping to get a simple part, that could be part of a larger ensemble. Like Aerick said, we could be like Samba Gringa, but coordinated with chants, rather than just providing mood music. By the way, Samba Gringa posted on BS that they have classes to teach samba drumming every wednesday or something at the U. If anyone was interested. I can't make it on Wednesdays, myself.
