I saw a Boy Scout group milling about on a church lawn. One of the leaders (I assume, because he had facial hair... you never know these days though... chicken anyone?) had a yellow/blue practice jersey. Its fun to see RSL in random places.

Seeing a car with an RSL sticker on it is no big event any more.

But this car, parked in front of a house about a mile from me, was a little different.....it was parked in a driveway next to a car with California license plates.

We can't beat the Galaxy, Earthquakes or even the motherscratching Goats Lite on the field.......but we can steal their fans.

Just ran into Cameron Knowles at the downtown Library.
He is a really nice guy to talk to.
If you ever get the chance you should talk to him.

Hiba, you work at the downtown library?

I used to work there about 4 years ago when they were in the old building. I worked in periodicals.

I was @ the airport this morning and I saw a boy with a RSL scarf! I asked where he was from and he said California... somewhere around Sacramento or something like that!
it was really cool, cause we started talking about the team and stuff!

I just saw Dunny, Gregorio, and Nelly at the Cafe Rio on 3300 South. I think they were a little freaked out that I knew who they were. 🙂

I bet they were. I'm sure the look on their faces was priceless.

They looked me like I was the biggest dork alive.

Which isn't too far off the mark, incidentally...
