Who was at the Waterford concert? Hey RCB guys,
My sister was the organizer for the recent Waterford Friday Night Live (F'N Live according to the original T-shirt design.....) She said that one of the bands ended with a guy changing into an RSL jersey and Kent Hercules saying he was a "Loyalist" but my sister said, "It was one of those guys wearing red wigs on the front row and I'm pretty sure he doesn't stand with the Loyalists..." So who's the Waterford connection? I'm assuming it's an RCB guy, not one of the Loyalist standbys. ? (p.s. My brother and his friend were the ones doing all the sound for the event, so you might have met him during the evening.)

That would have been me. My friends Dan Hill and Kent Hercules (no kidding) teach there and we've been practicing as a band for a little while (I play the sax.)
I was wearing the RSL jersey and the RSL scarf...I thought it would be good to promote RSL to the rich kids. __________________

Good plan, Bardguy. Waterford is also a HUGE soccer school. The kids there are very proud of their soccer team, which has in the past beaten much bigger schools. I used to teach there--cool school. It's not a surprise that the Costa Rican national team chose Waterford as a place to practice.
How was the gig? My sister thought it was very cool that you put on the RSL merchandise for part of the set!

It was fun...it was kind of a battle of the bands deal with my buddy's band just there for the novelty of having one of the instructors' bands in it. We were the second to last set and played two songs, and I had on the RSL jersey the whole time.
Did you ever see the kids who came to the games all painted in red with the red soccer balls on their heads? They went to Waterford too. It's always fun to play my sax, especially when there's throngs of screaming fans. Okay, so they weren't fans and they weren't exactly screaming...but you know what I mean. __________________

That sounds cool. Is Dan Hill a teacher there too? It seems like I shared a computer lab with him when I was teaching there (for one semester.....) If he's the person I'm thinking of, he's a very good graphic arts teacher. The kids did some very good work. Anyway, that's neither here nor there...

I go to school at Waterford.
I have had both Dan Hill and Kent Hercules as teachers and I am also on the upper school soccer team, just to let you all know.
