Is the front office planning on releasing a best of RSL dvd so that the hungry fans can see what we had to celebrate? I would love to see one of the fan groups put something together.

If the FO was to make a highlights DVD, would they also include the 100 goals of Jason Kreis that they showed on the big screen?

There is a lot of space on a DVD. That would be very, very cool. I would pay up to $12.00 for it. More than that would be a stretch for me, I think. What are the highlights of the year? We did have the 2nd worst record, but I think we had some very cool things happen for our team:

1. Kreis nets his 100th (obviously one of the coolest things)
2. Andy Williams gets MLS's 5,000th goal
3. Dunny's game winner at the home opener, oh and the crowd at the home opener
4. Mathis might/might not have made Isaac Romo regret his antics (I'd love to see this from as many angles as possible)
5. Eddie Pope's Flying Karate Kick goal against the Galaxy in May
6. USA vs. Costa Rica (I think this counts)
7. RSL routs FC Dallas 3-0

Then you could have interviews, photo galleries, all sorts of crap. It would be cool. It should be done! Anything YOU would add? How much would YOU pay? Tell us!

That would indeed be very cool. You could make it a documentary of the first year.

I was surfing around on a couple web sites of some teams in La Segunda (Spain Div 2) and noticed they DVDs for last years season for sale.

I would suggest highlights from each game of the season, but given our dismal record, that might actually be a disincentive to buying the DVD. Might have to hold off on something like that until we finish '06 holding the MLS cup (or at least the RMC). 😉

I don't think so - MLS and US Soccer are different organizations, and I don't think they would allow us to put that on our DVD. They wouldn't even allow RSL to pass out the game programs for the MLS match until after the US match was finished! (I can't remember, were booths for MLS/local sponsors also closed during the USMNT match?)

It could also have Kreis getting the player of the year award and his 100th goal celebration. Goal highlights, submissions from players, all sorts of stuff. It could be great. Why not reward the fans?
