So I'm a bit surprised, but not in a bad way. So does Ballouchy have what it takes to start in the a-mid spot? What does this do to our potential lineup? Can Kreis move back up to forward? If he's good enough to contribue major minutes right away, here's how I see things:

------------Garlick------------
-Cabrera-Pope-Akwari-Broome-
-----------Sequiera-----------
-Williams------------Scarlett?-
-----------Ballouchy----------
-----Kreis-------Cunningham--
eh i am thinkin
------------Garlick------------
-Cabrera-Pope-Akwari-Broome-
-----------Sequiera-----------
-Williams------------Fitzpatrick(i think he is good b/c he is very aggresive)
-------Ballouchy or Tarley-----
-----Kreis-------Cunningham--

The real lineup question:

Will it be the same twice during the season? I wouldn't put money on it.

Looks like there was some confusion about Ballouchy being a Gen. Adidas player...look at this article in the
DesNews today. He IS a Gen. Adidas player and his salary won't be counted against the salary cap. That's cool.

I love Tiger and all but I think that Scarlett is the better choice in that position. Does Ballouchy really play A-mid or can he play anywhere in the midfield? Sequeira will be gone for WC so it would be great if Ballouchy could play there.

I like Tiger in the holding mid position far better than I like him out on the wing, because he's not afraid to crunch the opponent, a quality which was often severely lacking last season.

I say we line it up like this:

-------------Garlick
-Cabrera-Pope-Akwari-Broome
--------------Tiger
---Williams--------Scarlett
------------Ballouchy
---------Kreis----Cunningham

It's looking real good for us.

That's the lineup when Sequiera is out, right?

My favorite part of all these lineups is that Tarley is in none of them.

He sounds excited to be in Salt Lake.

I get the feeling everyone will like Tarly much better when he is playing with a midfielder who will deliver the ball to him where he can do something with it.
