Don't shoot me, but I rather have Eddie in there instead of McBride. Every time I watch him I think that McBride is hurt and getting old. I loved how Eddie kept "stealing" the passes to Brian and scoring during the Panama match.

I've gotta agree -- it's time to start moving McBride to sub. And I'd love to see Mathis get the start, but I don't see it happening 🙁

Just to be completely obnoxious; McBride & Conor Casey have been playing every week. Or at least they've been in a position to get into games every week.

Can any Bundesliga fans tell us if Casey is getting any playing time?

How about Oguchi (that huge defender who plays in Belgium. He scored the last goal against Panama)?

Love Pope, love the Big Cat; but I like guys who have been playing every week better.

True about the Euros having more recent playing time, maybe that makes the difference. Ridge Mahooney in the USA Today says he doesn't think Clint will even play because he is not fit.
BTW Gooch didn't score that goal, it bounced off a Panamian defender. But man, it did look good. :D

These are all good points... as you can tell I really thought about putting Johnson in my lineup but I just have a lot of confidence in McBride. Maybe I'll change Mathis to Johnson then. Again, all good points, but let's see YOUR starting eleven!
