Adidas Makes a Deal with MLS

[Neil]

Looks like we'll be buying our anything having an MLS team logo on it from Adidas for the next 10 years. I'm fine with that.

I think this is good news. Of course there are concerns that all the kits will end up all looking the same, but I think Nike is far worse about that than Adidas is (look at the NT jerseys around the world). There are some really positive points about this deal including an adidas/MLS advertising campaign. Those boys know how to make a cool commercial, hopefully this will up the MLS street cred. Adidas will now have a real incentive to market MLS because they will be getting the $$ for MLS gear sales.

I think all in all this is a great move for MLS, good work Garber et al.
