What ever happened to the exhibition game we were supposed to have with a Bundesliga team? Weren't we going to get a game with Hannover 96 for taking Mathis off their hands or something?

Exhibition games with European Teams usually happen in the June-July time frame. That is to coincide with the European Leagues' preseasons.
