Even if they had to reschedule because of the production company, why clear down in Provo? I can't believe that there wasn't a single place in the entire Salt Lake Valley that this couldn't be done at. How many empty high school gyms will there be during that time? I just wish that they could have at least found somewhere close to do it. Even the people coming into Salt Lake from anywhere else would be going against the flow of traffic getting here.

Basketball season ends tonight, so there will be many empty gyms. There are a few gyms that have super league games going on through this week, but why not just go later in the week at RES?

Here's the email I got in response to my concerns regarding the reschedule. Not sure if everyone already got this, but I thought I'd post it here anyways:

I had heard that the focus of the advertising this year was supposed to be the fans. They will have to use film from last year because this time and place will preclude anyone with small children, most from the north (no-one wants to go to Provo at 6pm), many LDS (for many wards Wed night is meeting night) and many other kids because it is a school night. I would seriously not be surprised is they only get 20 people at best.

I'm lousy at guessing numbers without actually counting, but I think at least 60 people showed up. Those who did had a ton of fun, and I think we all lost our voices from cheering for the camera. Coach E made a guest appearance and was having fun laughing at us while we were doing our thing. Thanks a ton to Glenn for the drums (what would we do without 'em?) A handful of other diehard loyalists (sorry, didn't get any of your screen names, but I have my guesses), as well as a few RCB guys showed up to support their team and incite others in the community to attend the matches. Thanks all of you that came - it was a blast and I'm looking forward to seeing the final product! :king:

I'll echo beaveman that it was a lot of fun. About 60 ppl sounds like a good estimate. It will be interesting to see what they do with all that footage and how they bring it all together for the final product.
I heard that the 15-second spots may start broadcasting in the next couple weeks! So we won't have to wait too long to see how it all turned out.

I also have to add that I think Aerick's baby stole the show. π

My only regret is that my mohawk wasn't so much red as pink. I think it worked, but it definitely could have been better. Stupid Spencer's didn't have the color I bought last year... π
